How do you define the success of a project?
For a long time, a project is always deemed successful when it is completed within the constraints of time, scope, and cost. However, this definition of project success is restricted to only traditional projects and does not consider one more factor: would the customers purchase the end results?
A team or organisation can always complete a project within the constraints of time, cost, and scope but there is no guarantee that the end user/customer will find value in the end results. For a project to be defined as successful, the customer or the end users of the project must be content with the end results of the project.
