Meet Emmanuel, our very own Research Analyst at Spurt!
In this edition, we’re spotlighting Emmanuel Folaranmi, our Research Analyst at Spurt! Emmanuel’s journey with data at Spurt! has been one of growth, curiosity, and purpose. What began as a simple search for information has evolved into a meaningful process of uncovering insights and telling impactful stories with data.
Over time, Emmanuel’s role has shifted beyond the technical tasks of cleaning datasets and building dashboards. Today, his focus is on interpretation: asking the right questions, drawing connections, and helping teams understand what the data is saying and why it matters.

Between 2010 and now, Nigeria has emerged as a hotspot for technology and innovation on the African continent, it is home to over 90 tech hubs, the most in a single country in all of Africa.
The rise of tech hubs across the country is not only fostering a new generation of entrepreneurs but also driving economic growth and has created well over 100,000 Jobs in the country.
Is this true, or do underlying factors suggest a more complex reality?
