November at Spurt! has been all about learning, building, and empowering teams for the future of work.

From strengthening our internal culture to partnering with one of Africa’s strongest youth tech communities, we’ve been focused on initiatives and collaborations that prepare African teams for the future of work.

Here’s what we’ve been up to. 

At Spurt!, building a great remote team isn’t about assuming what people need but about listening deeply and creating space for real, unfiltered feedback. Anonymous surveys help us do exactly that by ensuring every team member can speak freely without hesitation or fear of judgment.

The Gen Z Summit Africa is a premier gathering for young changemakers, innovators, and entrepreneurs across media, technology, and business. Organised by Purpose-Driven Global, the summit brings together Gen Z leaders to engage in power talks, panel sessions, open-mic reflections, and interactive workshops.  

Earlier this month, SpurtX! partnered with Gen Z Summit Africa as part of our commitment to supporting youth-driven innovation. The event was vibrant, insightful, and deeply engaging — from the bold ideas shared on stage to the meaningful networking moments that connected young builders across different fields. 

Through this collaboration, we reinforced our commitment to empowering the next generation of African builders. Together, we’re helping shape the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and problem-solvers. 

A lot of us think flexibility at work is just about setting your own hours, but it’s much more than that.
